Young people are our future which is why we’re also investing in them too.

Stepclever aims to unlock and transform the aspirations of young people, break down stereotypical barriers and develop an enterprise and entrepreneurial culture within these areas in order to create a viable and sustainable future workforce with the vision to succeed.

There are two parts to our work with young people; an education project in the schools, and activities to release the latent entrepreneurship in young people aged 16-25.

The education project will deliver an extensive programme of professional development activities to equip teachers and associated educational professionals with the essential knowledge, skills and understanding of the theory and practice of enterprise education. All schools within the six core wards of the Stepclever geographical area will be supported through this project.

The young entrepreneur’s project (Amplifi) will consist of three main projects running twice a year, including: production, release and promotion of a CD; promotion and staging of a live event (e.g. music event or fashion show); and the publication of a magazine. Each project team will receive access to specialist training and mentoring support.
