Fashion Finds

For Julie Jones unemployment made her determined to make her fashion dream a reality.

The 29 year old noticed a gap in the market when it came to fashion websites and developed a concept to create a website that literally reflects high street fashion.

Julie and her friend and business partner Kate wanted to help people answer the question “I wonder where she got that from?”.  On a regular basis they scour the streets of the Northwest on the lookout for local fashionistas.  Photographs are taken and the pictures loaded on to a site with information about where the clothes are from and how much they cost.

In terms of making a profit, this would be generated by encouraging organisations to place adverts and endorsing clothing brands on the site.

There is also a handy search option which helps visitors look for the clothes they want.

Thanks to Stepclever, www.fashionfinds.co.uk was born and Julie was given the vital funding to create the website and produce flyers and business cards which helped to advertise the brand new venture.

Julie said: “We are so thankful to Stepclever as without their help we would not have been able to afford to start our business.

“And it isn’t just about the money – they also gave us training on the ins and outs of setting up a business which was just what we needed.”
