Kate Brown from Walton studied for her NVQ Level 2 in beauty at Hugh Baird College in Bootle which she completed in 2006. She then built up a range of experience before accessing Stepclever funding and advice, which led to her starting her own business.
Kate opened her salon called Beautylicious at the beginning of June at Hetherlow Community Centre, Moor Lane in Walton offering a wide range of beauty therapy services including facials, pedicures, manicures and waxes.
